Orgatanatos - Nea Vrenoe (2012)

Orgatanatos, as a creative collective, formed in the mid-2009 in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The project was founded by Nikita Iksanov (Igence Sic) and Anna Mukhtarova (Tiny Random). After the initial experiments, Ilya Lyubkin (DS) joined the creative process. After a year and a half of collaboration, Anna Mukhtarova left the project.

Postdigital Music is a term that can be used to describe the direction in which Orgatanatos' creativity moves. It refers to the music where only errors and glitches are left, unintentionally captured acoustic situations of entirely unwanted phenomena. Orgatanatos' music is a rethinking of the sound environment created by operating equipment, machines, mechanisms, electricity, and the city, all filled with billions of random numbers. Each sound is accompanied by its algorithm, its independent generation in the digital matrix. Noises and non-musical slices of sound layers find application alongside the live atmosphere of working offices, busy streets during rush hour, and abandoned factories behind fences along the roads of Tashkent. This is what Orgatanatos is all about—a living perspective on lifeless coincidences.

The creativity of Orgatanatos has been greatly influenced by artists like Lusine, Arovane, and Phonem. Their style varies in genres such as Glitch, IDM, Noise, Glitchbient, Clicks’n’Cuts, and Rhythmic Noise.
